However, there are several attractions you will need to purchase a ticket for, listed below:

Highlights You Can’t Miss
The Supertree Grove
Probably the most recognizable feature of the gardens is the Supertree Grove. The Supertree Grove has tall towering manmade trees the stand between 82 feet (25 m) and 164 feet (50 m) tall. Each tree is covered in thousands of plants as well as wrapped in LED lights for the nighttime light show. They’re massive and beautiful but also functional since they harness solar power and even collect rainwater.

I got to the Supertree Grove before sunset but also stayed until nightfall and waited for the nightly lightshow. The lightshow was a spectacular experience where all the towering trees light up in unison to the loud music that plays (loudly) throughout the grove.

OCBC Skyway
To get a bird eye’s view of the Supertree Grove and to see some incredible views of Marina Bay Sands hotel and the Singapore city skyline, go on the OCBC Skyway. The Skyway is a 420-ft (128-m) long aerial walkway that’s suspended between the Supertrees. If you manage to get up on the OCBC Skywalk at sunset, the views will be unforgettable.
When I visited the Supertree Grove, the sun was setting so I HAD to purchase a ride up onto the OCBC Skyway for some sunset views. Up here, there were breathtaking views of the towering trees with the skyline of Singapore behind it. Not to mention the amazing Marina Bay Sands towering in the distance.

Cloud Forest
The Cloud Forest had a nice otherworldly and serene atmosphere due to the misty screens, and it even had creatures from the Avatar movie franchise. It really made me feel like I walked into the world of Avatar. Inside there’s even a 115-ft (35-m) indoor waterfall falling from a lush mountain covered in tropical vegetation.

Flower Dome
The Flower Dome is inside another climate-controlled glass greenhouse where you’ll find plants and flowers originating from different parts of the world. The displays here do change seasonally so you won’t have the same experience upon your next return.
On-site Food Hall
A nice surprise we happened upon was that Gardens by the Bay has a food hall. So when you get hungry, you can stop by the food hall where there’s a selection of different foods to choose from.
Tips to Make the Most of Your Adventure
1. Buy Tickets in Advance
If you want to skip the long line queues, buy tickets to the paid attractions in advance online. The Supertree Grove is free but the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome require ticket admission.
During my visit, I prioritized visiting the Supertree Grove so I initially did not pay to enter Gardens by the Bay. But as I roamed around, it’s hard to not want to check out the other exhibits!
2. arrive Before Sunset
Try arriving at Gardens by the Bay before you sunset. You can explore the domes while the sun is still out, then head to the Supertree Grove to go on the OCBC Skywalk during sunset time to get some incredible sunset views. Then stay in Supertree Grove as the sun goes down to catch the light show at night.
3. Photography Tip
For Supertrees, wide-angle shots work best to capture their height and scale
Where to Stay in Singapore
I stayed at Marina Bay Sands, an ICONIC hotel with its three towers and the famous rooftop infinity pool on top. If you want a once-in-a-lifetime stay, then staying at Marina Bay Sands is a must.
