Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple
Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple is a beautifully colorful Hindu temple. In Fiji, Hinduism is the 2nd largest religion, and Hindu temples are incredible. The Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple has intricate and colorful architecture, and stepping inside, you’ll see ceiling paintings that represent different traditions and beliefs of the Hindu religion.
To enter the temple grounds, you are required to wear a long skirt (for women), and long pants (for men). There rental sarongs that you can get before entering the temple grounds, and you are also required to take off your shoes and leave them by the entrance.

Tappoo Nadi Department Store
At the Tappoo Nadi Department Store, you can experience a traditional Kava Tea Ceremony here. During the tea ceremony, the staff member explains kava and the effects of various amounts, and the method of drinking kava in a ceremonial setting. Then you’ll get to try some yourself!
After the tea ceremony, spend some time to explore the store, do some souvenir shopping, or even get some ice cream or some more coffee at the small cafe inside.

Nadi Produce Markets
At Nadi Produce Markets, you can buy and eat your own produce, and don’t forget to see see some kava root. If you want to buy produce at the market, then you will need to pay in Fijian dollars. This is a great way to try and taste local Fijian produce.

Garden of the Sleeping Giant
The Garden of the Sleeping Giant is a beautiful walk-through garden where you can see different types of flowers, plants, and trees, from common to more unique plant species. Don’t forget to look at all the orchid species here too! It’s stunning, relaxing, and a beautiful way to see a different side of Fiji.

Tifajek Mud Pool & Hotspring
The last stop on the tour was to the Tifajek Mud Pool & Hotspring. Here you can apply mud all over your body (legs only are also okay), let it dry, then dip into the mud pool to wash it off. You’ll feel silky smooth right after. Then hop into the hotspring and relax in the warm tranquil waters and sit back, relax, let the minerals do their thing, and enjoy the serene tropical atmosphere.
