Day 1: Arrival, Jewel Vortex & Gardens by the Bay
Arrive Early at Changi Airport & Visit Jewel
Singapore’s Changi Airport is an attraction in itself. After you land, head straight to the Jewel, located across the street from the airport’s Terminal 1 Departures Hall. At the Jewel catch the Rain Vortex waterfall, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. It’s surrounded by lush greenery and bathed in natural light, and is the perfect way to begin your Singapore adventure.

Check in at Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Even if it’s before the actual check-in time, you’re able to still check in early and leave your bags with the staff. They’ll bring your bags to your room when it’s ready. But since you still have a lot of sun left in the day, it’s time to explore!
Lunch at Maxwell Food Centre
No trip to Singapore is complete without hawker food. Take a short taxi or MRT ride to Maxwell Food Centre, one of the city’s most beloved hawker centers. Here, try the famous Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, a Michelin Bib Gourmand favorite known for its tender chicken and fragrant rice.

Stroll or Taxi to Merlion Park
After lunch, make your way to Merlion Park, home to Singapore’s iconic half-lion, half-fish statue spouting water into Marina Bay. It’s the perfect spot for photos with the city skyline as your backdrop.
Walk Across the Helix Bridge Back to Marina Bay Sands
From Merlion Park, enjoy a leisurely walk back to Marina Bay Sands via the Helix Bridge, a stunning DNA-inspired pedestrian bridge. It offers great photo ops of the bay, Marina Bay Sands, and the city skyline, which is especially beautiful in the late afternoon light.

Explore Gardens by the Bay Before Sunset
Head across to Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s futuristic nature park. Arrive in the late afternoon to wander through the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome before sunset. These climate-controlled domes are breathtaking, with misty waterfalls, rare plants, and ever-changing floral displays. Then at arouns sunset, head to the Supertree Grove and go on the OCBC Skywalk to get incredible views of the supertrees and Singapore’s city skyline, and of Marina Bay Sands.
Snack Tip: Before the light show, grab a bite at Jurassic Nest Food Hall, a dinosaur-themed food court with Asian specialties.

Stay for the Supertree Grove Light Show
As night falls, watch the Garden Rhapsody Light Show at the Supertree Grove. The towering vertical gardens light up in sync with music, creating a magical atmosphere you’ll never forget. The grounds will be packed, so if you want a seat or a spot away from the walkways, plan to snag one early at like 7:30 PM.

Dinner at Marina Bay Sands
Return to Marina Bay Sands for dinner. The hotel has countless options, from celebrity-chef restaurants to rooftop dining. We chose CÉ LA VI on the rooftop for incredible city views, cocktails, and modern Asian cuisine.
Night Swim the Infinity Pool
If you’re not too tired from the day, take advantage of the rooftop infinity pool and have a night swim. You’ll get incredible view of a lit up city skyline.

Breakfast at Rise
Start your morning at Rise, Marina Bay Sands’ breakfast buffet restaurant that’s located on the 1st floor. Rise has everything from local dishes to international classics, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious.
Visit the ArtScience Museum: Future World
Just steps from the hotel is the ArtScience Museum, its lotus-shaped architecture make it impossible to miss. Head to the Future World: Where Art Meets Science exhibit by teamLab, an immersive digital experience where you can interact with art installations, create your own animated sea creatures, and stroll through dazzling galaxies of light.

Explore The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Spend your afternoon wandering The Shoppes, one of Singapore’s most luxurious malls. Even if you’re not shopping, it’s fun to window-browse high-end brands, ride the indoor sampan boat, and snap photos at the stunning floating Apple Store. For lunch, stop at the food court/hawker area inside for a casual yet delicious meal.

Relax at the Infinity Pool
Return to the hotel and head up to the world-famous Infinity Pool on the 57th floor. Order a drink, snap those iconic photos, and lounge while soaking in the skyline. Stay through sunset to watch the city light up and see the Gardens by the Bay Supertrees glow from above.
