The Experience
Tour Meetup
The tour does not do hotel pick up, but you are able to choose from a number of convenient pickup locations. I chose a meetup spot next to a train station in Haeundae Beach and check in and pickup was smooth and easy. We boarded a large coach bus which was our mode of transportation for the entire day.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
The first stop is at Haedong Yonggung Temple, one of the most iconic temples in Korea. It’s literally perched right beside the ocean with sweeping ocean views crashing into the coastal rocks. The temple is a Buddhist temple with stone stairways, beautiful temple buildings, and a short hike up to a viewpoint overlooking the temple grounds.
We are given free time to explore the whole temple grounds, which was enough time to visit the viewpoint area to get a view of the temple from in front, as well as to hike up the stairs to get a view from above.
Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk
The next stop brought us back towards Haeundae area at Cheongsapo Station. We get dropped off and we follow our guide down a wooden walkway parallel to the Beach Train tracks, and made our way to the Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk. We were given a few minutes to walk along the Skywalk and admire the ocean views, and walk along the glass floors with the waves crashing below.
Seafood Lunch
After the Skywalk, we followed the wooden walkway back towards the Cheongsapo Station, but about halfway, we took some stairs down to the coast and our guide led us to a seafood restaurant, Doheenae. Doheenae serves fresh seafood that the waiters grill in front of you on the in-table-grill. I opted for the Eel meal and it was delicious!!!
However, if you don’t want to eat at Doheenae, you’re free to roam the area and find something to eat. You can ask the guide for any other recommendations if you don’t want seafood. We’re jut told to meet back at Cheongsapo Station after lunch
Haeundae Blueline Park (Sky Capsule Ride)
After lunch, the group re-met back up at Cheongsapo Station, where the guide separated us into groups of 4 (since each sky capsule only holds 4 people). We didn’t have to wait in line very long until it was our turn, and man, these sky capsules are so cute and fun!
The speed is pretty slow, but you’re able to enjoy the surrounding ocean views, and take plenty of photos and videos of the experience. The ride ends at Mipo Station, where you’ll disembark and meet back up with the rest of the group where we take a short walk to where the bus is able to pick us up.
Huinnyeoul Culture Village
The next stop on the tour is at the Huinnyeoul Culture Village is a bit of a hidden gem village and can be known as the Santorini of Busan. Once you lay your eyes on it you’ll understand why, with its cliffside buildings and amazing ocean views. Its seaside location gives it a unique charm and there are painted steps, art installations, and a walkway that hugs the cliff’s edge.
We were given some free time to roam the village, which was really only enough time to get to the end of the cliffside walkway, and back to the meetup spot. There’s some cafes here you can also enjoy and relax at if walking the whole length of the pathway doesn’t interest you.
Gamcheon Culture Village
Gamcheon Culture Village is one of Busan’s most iconic spots (and for good reason!). You’ll find bright murals, winding alleys, colorful buildings, quaint cafes, and incredible views of the village. Even though this is a popular tourist stop, it doesn’t really feel overcrowded. There are some lines to take some iconic photos, like with the “I <3 Busan” sign, and the Boy and Fox statues.
We were also given free time to roam the village, which was enough time to roam a bit, buy souvenirs, and also grab a drink at a cafe. I went to Wooin Cafe where the rooftop has amazing view of the village and beyond. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re looking for some great views of the culture village.
Tour End & Return
After the last stop, we headed back to each of the meetup spots and dropped people off accordingly. The day was long but we saw so much, learned so much, and took great photos!
Is It Worth It?
| 👍Pros | ⚠️Cons/What to Consider |
|---|---|
| Covers many of Busan’s top coastal highlights in one day | Long, full day with multiple stops and limited downtime |
| Scenic Haeundae Blueline Park train ride with ocean views | Some stops may feel slightly rushed |
| Gamcheon Culture Village is colorful, cultural, and very photogenic | Can be crowded, especially at Gamcheon |
| Includes Haedong Yonggung Temple, one of Korea’s most unique temples | Coastal views are weather-dependent |
| Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory offers a memorable “walking on water” experience | Windy conditions can make the glass bridge uncomfortable |
| Lunch at a popular local seafood restaurant included | Seafood lunch may not suit dietary restrictions |
| Saves time and transport planning | Less flexibility compared to traveling independently |

Where to Stay in Busan
In Busan, I stayed at the UH Continental CenterPoint, which is located right near Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market with plenty of things to see, eat, and do right in this area. Not to mention, the rooms are beautifully designed and some have its own private spa. Book your stay by clicking here, or check availability for your dates below and click “Search”:

Final Words: Absolutely Worth It!
This Busan Day Tour is definitely worth it, especially if your’s first-time visitor to Busan and want a mixture of ocean views, artsy neighborhoods, and iconic stops all in one day. Visiting all the stops on your own would require a quite of bit of planning and driving/parking, so the best and most convenient way to visit these stops is with a tour. So if you’re visiting Busan for the first time, then I hope this review urges you to consider adding this Busan Day Tour to your itinerary.
